Happy Girl holding Striped Bass that she caught at Lake Thurmond

Captain Dave knows Lake Thurmond

Thank you for your interest in striper fishing with Captain Dave Willard on Clarks Hill (Thurmond) Lake. Clarks Hill is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi with a wealth of wildlife and everything from whitetail deer, wild turkeys, Canada geese and the majestic Bald Eagles. Clarks Hill is known for its great fishing and it's striper record is at 55 lbs. Largemouth bass fishing is awesome as the fish grow really big feeding on the forage base of threadfin shad and blueback herring.
